Children and Youth (5-17 years)

Encouraging children and youth to sit less and move more improves their health and wellbeing. Excess screen time in youth is in fact linked with increased risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes.

Sit Less
  • Limit recreational screen time to less than 2 hours per day.
  • Try to limit sitting for extended periods of time.
